UGG IS A BRAND FOR THOSE WHO REFUSE TO BE DEFINED BY CONVENTION. Founded in 1978 on the coast of California by an Australian surfer, UGG is a global lifestyle brand renowned for its iconic Classic Boot. First worn by Hollywood royalty, fashion editors, and then the world, UGG has since expanded beyond the icon to design footwear, apparel, accessories, and home decor with an uncompromising attitude toward creativity, quality, and craftsmanship. Bold, provocative, free-spirited, optimistic, and real, the brand has always celebrated unapologetic individuality and continues to be embraced globally by those who refuse to be defined by convention. Look just like the picture. Got the red. I am usually a 7.5. I sized up to the 8, and they fit just right. A little snug, but as the wool compresses, it'll fit nicely. Length is about a 1/2” between the end of my toe and the end of the slipper.I was surprised when I saw the inside is a piled sheep fur on a polyester backing. The wool is thick and quality. I actually thought it was shearling at first. It's possible because the wool is so thick, I might be overly concerned about the next point. What brought down the rating for me was being disappointed that the whole sole of the shoe is synthetic. The piled wool is attatched to a foam backing to make up the insole. That is then glued to a blue rubber layer that is the top of the outter sole. I was expecting a leather layer on the bottom of the wool as it holds up better over time for longevity reasons. This is a quality preference on my part. The insole takes the biggest beating from your foot and a polyester knit attached to a sheet of 1/8" craft foam may not hold up as well as other materials. The wool really is beyond the quality I was expecting. As long as you can't wear a whole through the fur, you're looking good. The bottom of this slipper is pliable rubber and reasonably comfortable. There is of course no arch support in these like most slippers. If you have foot problems, these are probably not for you. The lace is nice and thick, and I trust it for future adjustment needs when the wool compresses. All in all I would recommend these. I can't comment on durability other than my concern above, but they seem like they might be a good choice. I'm going to shop a little more, so I may not update if find something else.Love the UGG Dakota Wide but it is very hard to find. Now they only make regular width. I liked it so much I let my husband, who has foot problems, try it on. He loved it and asked if he could have it. Now I cannot find another Size 11 UGG Dakota Wide, only regular width. Help! This is my third pair of these UGG slippers in 11-12 years. They are really comfortable, last a long time, and are well worth the price. The fit is perfect and slippers are really warm. You can even run out to get your newspaper or mail in them as they have a slid-free bottom and will not get wet.Bought these slippers when we quarantined in April 2020, a year ago, and have worn them virtually every day since. They show no wear, are still warm, and even the bow on top has stayed tied. They make me happy! The last time I bought an UGG product for myself (not from Amazon) it fell apart within a few months. I've since learned that there are UGGs and there are UGGs -- some are made in China from inferior leather. These are the good UGGs.I love these UGGs. The color is beautiful (Nightfall) a purple gray depending on the lighting. They are a tight fit at first but quickly stretch after wearing a few times and are so comfortable and cozy now. This was a gift for my daughter and she loves them. So comfy, warm and the hard sole makes it so you can wear it outside as well. she loves them. I have the UGG scuffs and have used them for 20 years. I love them sooo much.To start, I love the quality, warmth and look of these house shoes. Problem is I bought a size that is 1/2 larger than normal to accommodate my width and they are still a bit too tight. If I went larger they would not stay on my foot. I am holding out hope they will stretch with use. I would recommend these especially if you have a normal width foot.I love these Uggs. I have a pair of moccasins by Ugg that I wear in the spring and summer. They have the wool lining only on the bottom, not all around. These moccasins are perfect for winter. They have plenty of wool to keep my tootsies warm. I wear these at home and when I am out and about. Only one thing I have to remember is to wear very thin socks (almost nylon stockings thickness) with them. Otherwise I highly recommend them. These stylish mocassins keep my feet warm without the need for socks which I cannot put on by myself. After careful trimming of any fleece lining peeking out, I am able to wear these everywhere. The nonslip sole is much appreciated. The immediate fit was snug as expected but the shoe is molding to my foot and was quickly very comfortable. If I had to pick only one shoe from my wardrobe, this would be it!I got these for my mom for Christmas. She is regularly a size 6.5, and after reading many reviews, I ordered the size 7 instead of sizing down as I would normally do for regular Ugg boots. I'm glad I did, as they fit her perfectly! She had even been asking for a size 6 slipper as the ones she has (LL Bean brand) are 7s and have always been too big for her, but she said there was no way a 6 would have fit in these. They feel like amazing quality. Kind of want my own now :)UGGs are always above-average slippers. I have many pairs of every version, and keep hoping to find a pair that feel and fit like the original Australian UGGs. These are not made in Australia and the fit starts out tight, with itchy fur of lower quality than the originals and quickly shift to loose and sloppy as the fur wears down very fast. While some of my Aussie pairs from 20 years ago still have all their fur, to keep the out-sourced ones comfortable and looking good I have to buy sheep fur insoles. As this is all I can get in Canada and until I fly to Australia and bring back some REAL UGGs, these still deserve FIVE STARS.Good construction, quality manufacturing.Gifted to my mother-in-law and she loved it
